POWER TRENDS ANNOUNCES LOWER PRICES | |

Batavia, IL -- Power Trends, Inc. has just announced dramatically lower prices on their popular SIP type Integrated Switching Regulators (ISRs), effective April 1, 1996. Price reductions range from 10% to 30% depending on product type and quantity purchased. For instance, the OEM (1,000 unit) price on a PT5101U, 5V/1A 3-pin step-down ISR, is now just $6.40, a reduction of 16%. The PT6101U, a high performance 5V/1A 12-pin step-down ISR with on/off and VO adjust, is now just $6.95 - a 27% reduction!

Zimmerer, Vice-President of Marketing for Power Trends, “These lower prices were made possible by a combination of increased quantities/lower material costs, increased yields, more automation in our manufacturing plant, and cost reduction programs driven by Engineering.
